I‘m Neil Young, a highly qualified and experienced exercise and healthy lifestyles specialist working in Guildford and the Surrey Hills. My focus is helping adults who want to lose weight, eat more healthily, improve their fitness, and lead more energetic lives. The people that I have worked with in the last 5 years have achieved all of these results and have significantly reduced their risk of developing life-threatening medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
My work is grounded in my training as a sport and exercise scientist, but the delivery is straightforward and practical. I work hand-in-hand with personal clients to plan their goals and programmes around their busy lifestyles. Together we achieve impressive results and develop long-lasting healthy habits.

My view on eating is that a whole foods plant-based diet is optimal for weight loss and overall health. I have developed a Plant-Based Eating for Weight Loss course focusing on personalised dietary analysis and recommendations. This comes coupled with informative, supportive and practical workshops designed to help clients transition away from eating meat and dairy and towards plant-based eating. The course is available to clients as a bolt-on to their personal training or as a standalone intervention.

As well as working with personal clients, I deliver weight management and healthy lifestyles courses for local council Public Health Departments and several NHS Trusts.
I am accredited as a Senior Activity and Health Practitioner by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity
I have undergraduate and masters degrees in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University. My professional qualifications are:
